EDITIONS
The Heidelberger Kunstverein offers editions or smaller works by some of the artists exhibiting at the Kunstverein. Members can purchase these works at very attractive prices. Non-members pay a surcharge.
LUCAS FASTABEND & LEO WÖRNER
On the occasion of the exhibition of their work „Vehicle” at Übermorgenkünstler II Lucas Fastabend and Leo Wörner created an edition of 9 works. The works are based on a print which shows the distance (Frankfurt-Leipzig-Berlin-Düsseldorf-Heidelberg) covered for their work „Vehicle”. Every print has been reworked by the two artists in a different way, producing nine independent works. Members can purchase them at a special price of € 390 plus 19% VAT. Non-members pay € 590 plus 19% VAT.
CEDRIC BOMFORD
On the occasion of the project in public space "Außer Haus" the canadian artist Cedric Bomford created an edition with selected pictures of a photo series he took 2010 in Prague. The fotos show the architecture of air pits from the 1970s in Prague when in Czechoslovakia building still followed the guidelines of the socialistic realism. Members can purchase two photographs (printed on Dibond aluminum) at a special price of € 390 plus VAT. Non-members pay € 590 plus 19% VAT.
ECKE BONK
Accompanying his solo exhibition in the Heidelberger Kunstverein Ecke Bonk created an edition of 20 prints. For his work "James Joyce, Finnegans Wake, p.383" (1997/2004, letterpress, 72x53 cm) the artist created a hot type of the page 383 of Joyce's novel. By retransfering the page in hot type Bonk carries Joyce's play with language to an extreme. The prints are all signed and numbered. Members can purchase them at a special price of € 650 plus VAT. Non-members pay € 950 plus 19% VAT.
RIMINI PROTOKOLL
On the occasion of its 10th anniversary Rimini Protokoll a theatre-collective from Berlin presented its first solo exhibition in the Heidelberger Kunstverein. For this occasion Rimini Protokoll also created an edition consisting of the discarded chairs of the Heidelberger Theater. Phrases were carved into the chairs' armrests that quote the "Heidelberger Manifest" an installation which predicts ideas about the future of the theatre. Members can purchase a chair at a special price of € 750 plus VAT. Non-members pay € 1050 plus 7% VAT.
ANTJE SCHIFFERS
Accompanying her solo exhibition in the studio of the Heidelberger Kunstverein, Antje Schiffers created an edition of 10 works. The works are composed of a drawing, felt pen and ink on paper and a print. It is a part of the "Heidelberger Reihe" which has been created especially for the Heidelberger Kunstverein. Both sheets measure 29x21 cm and remember the professionell counselling which the artist got from Roland Berger in change of paintings. Members can purchase them at a special price of € 490 plus VAT. Non-members pay € 690 plus 7% VAT.
IVO BUROKVIC
On the occasion of "The Perfect Exhibition", the artist Ivo Burokvic who was born in Kazakhstan, created ten oil paintings on canvas measuring 40x50 cm. Members of the Kunstverein can purchase these colourful p entitled „More Spaceballs“ for a special price of € 300 excluding VAT. Non-members pay € 500 excluding VAT.
ARMIN LINKE
During spring 2010 the Heidelberger Kunstverein displayed works by Armin Linke. An edition of 20 pieces is now on offer at a special price of € 600 excluding VAT for members and € 900 excluding VAT for non-members. The 40x50 cm photograph entitled „Restaurant View, Cairo, Egypt“, is printedon Dibond aluminum.
JORINDE VOIGT
Accompanying her solo exhibition, "Jorinde Voigt. Symphonic area. Beat and proportion" in 2009 in the studio of the Heidelberger Kunstverein, the artist Jorinde Voigt created an edition of 100 offset prints. They measure 46x61 cm and are printed on special 300 gsm paper. The prints entitled „VW 2009-141, Symphony Study Var. XIII/7“ are all signed and numbered. Members can purchase them at a special price of € 190 plus VAT. Non-members pay € 380 plus 19% VAT.
SANDOW BIRK
In conjunction with his solo exhibition in 2009 at the Heidelberger Kunstverein, the American artist Sandow Birk made several drawings. One exemplar of them is still available. The signed piece was created with indian ink and gouache on paper and measures 83x63 cm. Members can purchase it at a special price of € 600 excluding VAT. The price for non-members amounts to € 900 excluding VAT.
MARCEL VAN EEDEN
Marcel van Eeden, who exhibited his work at the Heidelberger Kunstverein in September 2008, subsequently created five works especially for Kunstverein members. The 14x19 cm drawings are on offer for members at a special price of € 950 excluding VAT. The price for non-members is € 1,250 excluding VAT.
LEON FERRARI
The blueprints of Buenos Aires in 1921 and an additional series of works were presented at the Documenta 12 by the artist León Ferrari where he explored the compulsions that are concealed by a desire for increased order. Ferrari questions the absurdity and violence implicit in automation and political or religious systems. 2008 the blueprints were on disply at the group exhibition "Camp" at the studio of the Heidelberger Kunstverein. They measure 60x60 cm or 110x240 cm and can be purchased by members at a special price of € 150 excluding VAT. The price for non-members is € 300 excluding VAT.
ALICE CREISCHER AND ANDREAS SIEKMANN
Alice Creischer and Andreas Siekmann participated at the group exhibition "ISLANDS+GHETTOS" 2008 at the Heidelberger Kunstverein. The exposition was subsequently on display also in other locations (Berlin, Graz). Some of their works were put together to form the edition that is now on offer. Memebers can purchase the 84x120 cm pieces at a special price of € 350 excluding VAT. The price for non-members amounts to € 500 excluding VAT.
ULRIKE KUSCHEL
In the course of the exhibition by Ulrike Kuschel in 2007, the Heidelberger Kunstverein published an edition of screen prints with 8 photographic images of the Heidelberg castle. Members can purchase the 2007 works that measure 35x30 cm and are entitled "it was destroyed by american bombs" at a special price of € 300 excluding VAT. The price for non-members amounts to € 450 excluding VAT.
CHRISTIAN SCHWARZWALD
During a scholarship in Mexico City, prior to his solo exhibition at the Heidelberger Kunstverein, the Austrian artist Christian Schwarzwald produced three nearly identical original drawings, each 70x50 cm. He created them with the help of mixing technique on paper and entitled them "Over There". Members can purchase the pieces at a special price of € 500 excluding VAT. The price for non-members is € 700 excluding VAT.
SIMON STARLING
On the occasion of the exhibition by Simon Starling, the Heidelberger Kunstverein published a signed edition of 25 pieces which was also part of the work, "Los Angeles, 3rd - 5th March, 1969 // To Indefinite expansion". Members receive four 50x70 cm sheets at the special price of € 600 excluding VAT.
